ANTHEM is a TAA-licensed umbrella organization, for several real estate and creative companies here in Waco, TX. Our headquarters and studios are located in the very core of downtown, and exist and operate to see our city restored and rejuvenated, whether it be one brick or building at a time, or one tenant or local visitor at a time. Much of this activity requires daily tasks and administrative work that happens behind the scenes and without a lot of public excitement, but all put together, mixed with our teams’ own particular skill sets allows for the greater fulfillment of our broader corporate mission – development by design. Peter & Summer Ellis, Baylor alumni and the directors of ANTHEM have lead out in the design and business development industry professionally for approximately 40 years collectively. For [ ANTHEM ], we are currently hiring a detail-oriented and diligent individual to join the ANTHEM team as a [ Skilled Worker / Maintenance ] member. As a Skilled Worker / Maintenance staff member with us, you will be able to bring satisfaction & a quality experience to the downtown Waco population, through offering superior knowledge of equipment, revitalization to our spaces, and willingness to take on new projects that seek to uphold the values of this organization. This opening for the Skilled Worker / Maintenance position is being considered for part-time &/or full-time and pay will begin between $13-$20/hr. After a 90-day probationary/training period, employee will be eligible for merit based increases and promotions, as long-term employee growth is important to us. Health benefits are available for full-time position.

Job Description:

– Able to address maintenance issues for tenants such as diagnosing a plumbing
issue and then working through that problem until it’s finished.
– Substantial knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.
– Able to work on small construction projects such as drywall and plasterwork
– Able to work on projects at several locations at once in a professional manner
– Able to work on a team and take direction from team leaders
– Able to interact with tenants in a professional manner
– Able to communicate well others as a team
– At least 3 years of experience preferred
